Partner Advisory Council Branding
This council is gathered to get direct feedback on existing and new product and marketing efforts. There are in-person connections once a year and various virtual touch points throughout the year.
Inspiration
Every branding project starts with inspiration from the web and defining the central look, feel and foundation of where the brainstorming should start. The Advisory Council needed to be colorful but simple - fun in a marketplace that uses blue too much.
Black and white brainstorm
Just starting with shapes and black and white - the brainstorming starts. Never more than a day or two, this process is quick because itβs great to not overthink the brainstorming. With this collection of marks, I put together a few in color and built out the marks on two of my favorites to show how this brand could grow. (below)
Feedback from the creative team
After putting a few of my favorites together in color, and building them out - I got feedback from the creative and marketing teams. There was some differing opinions; ultimately, marketing had great insight and we went with the bottom right.
One logo mark
Only one logo mark was needed - this initiative is 4 times a year and takes feedback from up to 20 Niche Partners.
Templated Slide Decks
Slide decks were created by marketing - but they needed a template to work from. I created 10 sides for them to drag and drop their information into.
Accessible Fillable Form
Sara Coren, our creative front end web developer and I worked up a Wordpress block to use as a component in the Wordpress system. Easily, advisory council members can sign up to keep hearing about insights and plans that are right for them.
Illustrations
With a few collateral pieces that needed a little fun - I came up with four illustrations to create that joy. Stickers and tissue paper used these as a pattern.
Custom Tissue Paper
Every council member got a merch packet shipped with a North Face jacket, stickers and a notebook. To add some creative love, I designed a tissue paper for the wrapping. A little moment of joy.
